Sue was Deputy Headteacher in the earliest years of my career as an English teacher and was so inspirational, kind and dedicated. I doubt I’ll ever reach the standard she set for us as young teachers - students hung on her every word and her lessons were legend. Sue was a beacon of formidable intelligence, integrity, care, hard work, excellence - all the best traditions of the teaching profession. May she rest in peace, and may her family and friends find comfort for her loss.
